30 Lists Sept 2012 | Lists 9-30

Better late than never! I finished my 30 Lists project the first week of October and finally getting to posting the pics. I had so much fun with this project. It's inspired me to do it this way for my December Daily this year, but more about that to come.

For now, here are my lists numbers 9-30.

And there it is! Like I said, I had a lot of fun with this project. I think they run it twice a year, be looking for the next one in the spring. Of course you can always make up your own lists too! Which is what I'm planning for December.

To find out more about 30 Lists, click here. To see my other 30 Lists posts click here and here.

Products used: I used a Moleskine cashiers grid journal, an app on my iMac called Instant to make the "Polaroids", various washi tapes, sharpie pen. Font is Bebas. The map is from Mr. Printables. I printed out the photos on HP matte 4x6 photo paper at home.

  1. Hi Annette - just wanted to say that I loved your take on the 30 days of lists!! It's just the right amount of clean & simple mixed with little bits of embellishments & stamping - well done! I can't wait to see what you do for December Daily. I'm doing one for the first time ever and could use as much help and inspiration as I can get! :) Leanne

    1. Thanks Leanne! Make sure if you try this version to test out your ink because these pages are pretty thin. Only drawbook in my opinion. However, I still love it. I used chalk inks and I'm trying out some Staz On type ink that I think will work too. My dye inks bleed through really bad. As for December Daily--have fun with it and just go for it! The first year I did it in 2010 I used Ali's templates and it made it so much easier. Let me know if I can help! Thanks so much for your kind words!!

    1. Thank you!! I really love this project. I need to update it to say test out any ink on an extra page, as they are thin. See the above comment :) Would love to see what you do!

  3. I LOVE what you did. I'd love to know how you created the titles? I cannot do this kind of awesome simplicity but I sure love what you did!

    1. Thank you!! I just typed up all the prompts in Photoshop elements and printed them on a grey cardstock and trimmed them out. For my Dec Daily I did a little more with it by doing a reverse type so the words are white. Hope that makes sense! Thank you again! I'm doing a "crafty" version for December too so I'm giving myself room to play around more in another album! :)

  6. Amazing!! I Love How You Kept The Same Format For Each List.. I Wish I Would Have Done That & Maybe I Would Have Finished It Instead Of Giving Up A Week Into It *lol*
This Is One Of My Favorite Projects Of Yours & I'm Excited To Do December Daily Right Along With You.. I Can't Wait To See Your Updates Thruout December! *Hugs!

  7. Oh great - I've just discovered your blog and now I can tell I'm going to be hooked! (In fact I suspect I'll spend the rest of my evening oohing and ahhing over your past posts.) I love this book. I love the layout - not too fussy or overcomplicated - and the way you focus on journalling and one photo to tell stories. What a brilliant keepsake to have in the future. Love it! Thanks so much for sharing.

  8. I just read about your book on the Document Life Workshop blog and had to check it out. It's so funny - I just started following you on Twitter. How did I not know about you before?? I'll be perusing more, LOL! Great job on this book - I might have to "lift" this idea and use it for March! (Or April, or May...) Thanks for the inspiration! :)

    1. Thank you!!! Lift away!! I was just looking back and am amazed at how awesome just lists captured my life. Amazing how things have changed (or not). I'm so happy I did it. It's such a fun creative outlet too. No pressure, just lists! :) I was going to skip March just b/c I have been doing so good keeping up on PL I didn't want to mess it up, but isn't life a mess anyways? why not?! Plus, looking back at it makes me really want to do it again. So I'm in! I ordered a book from Elizabeth Rosemond this time :)
